SCUBA DIVING

The exciting experience of Scuba diving is a major tourist attraction. One can see the fascinating marine life among the world of amazing water bodies, colorful fishes and amazing corals. One can explore the wonders of scuba diving and can get the rare experience mixed with adventure. However, Diving in Andaman & Nicobar Islands is still in its infancy.

The Scuba Diving centers have all the facilities and necessary equipment for a great experience of scuba diving. Adding to this there are many skilled trainers who can help the tourists in getting into the deep of the sea.

SEA WALKING

The Sea walk is experienced under the strict supervision and guidance of highly trained and internationally certified instructors who are with you throughout the entire experience. The tour begins with a boat ride transferring you onto a pontoon which is anchored of the coast, measuring 1600sq ft. with elaborate facilities such as changing rooms, lockers, wash rooms etc. At this point the guides brief the walkers on basic hand gestures, safety procedures and the actual steps to be taken during the sea walk.

Day 1
WELCOME TO ANDAMAN. MEET OUR TOUR REPRESENTATIVE ON ARRIVAL AND TRANSFER TO THE HOTEL FOR CHECK-IN. AFTER LUNCH PROCEED TO SIGHTSEEING

CITY TOUR

After Lunch proceed to City tour, Move out to the historical monument of Cellular Jail, Carbyn’s cove beach which is one of the most picturesque beach, later in the evening witness Light and Sound Show at Cellular Jail – which represents the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle.

Day 2
NORTH BAY AND ROSS ISLAND. AFTER BREAKFAST YOU WILL BE ESCORTED TO ANDAMAN WATER SPORTS COMPLEX FOR CATCHING A FERRY

NORTH BAY

It is also called “The Gateway to Port Blair”. An excursion to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fish and other marine life North Bay is the most snorkeling point of Andaman. Apart from snorkeling and glass bottom boat ride, scuba diving, underwater sea walk facility is also available at North Bay.

ROSS ISLAND (NETAJI SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE ISLAND)

Ross island is the Capital of Andaman And Nicobar islands during British period from 1858 to 1942 and 1945 to 1947. During 1942 to 1945, the island was under to grip of Japanese. This island now control by Indian Navy. This is just 20 minutes by Boat journey from Water Sport Complex of Port Blair. In Ross island people can see the ruins of buildings built during British period. Ruins of Church, Printing press, Government offices, Power house, Tennis court, Bakery, pond
etc… can be seen. A museum called Smritika is being maintained by Navy in this island. Some old photographs, documentary and photo copies of letters regarding the Ross island are displayed. A graveyard of Britisher’s surrounded by coconut palm trees is also available here. The island is full of coconut and palm trees. There are so many places in the island for the visitors to sit and relax. This island is an ideal destination for nature walks amidst sylvan surroundings with Deer’s, Peacocks, Exotic birds and etc.

Day 3
PORTBLAIR TO HAVELOCK (68 KMS) IN THE MORNING YOU WILL BE ESCORTED TO HARBOR TO BOARD BY CRUISE WHICH WILL TAKE YOU TO HAVELOCK.

HAVELOCK ISLAND

Havelock is a picturesque natural paradise with beautiful white sandy beaches and crystal clear transparent waters, rich coral reefs and lush green forest. The island offers state-of-the-art facilities for snorkeling and scuba diving. It is one of the most populated islands in the Andaman group with an area of 113 sq. km. and is located 68 km north-east of Port Blair.

RADHA NAGAR BEACH

Radha Nagar beach lies on the south coast of Havelock some 12 kilometers from the island ferry pier. Radha Nagar is a grade a beach of approaching two kilometers and an average width of 30 to 40 meters. The sand is white coral, very fine in grain. The beach has a gentle gradient of around 1:20 and continues out 100 meters. South facing, the beach has excellent exposure and is not subject to shading which would reduce its attraction for sunbathing. The ends of the beach are contained by rocky outcrops which provide some variety tothe littoral. The quality of water Radha Nagar beach is exceptionally
calm and clear. There is very little wave action and consequently almost no turbidly in the water even along the surf line.

HAVELOCK TO ELEPHANT BEACH, AFTER BREAKFAST YOU WILL BE ESCORTED TO HAVELOCK JETTY FOR TAKE A SPEED BOAT TO ELEPHANT BEACH AND RETURN BACK TO HAVELOCK

ELEPHANT BEACH

The stunning Elephant Beach gains its name from a wild elephant that used to chase visitors away years ago. Elephant Beach is a secluded beach with clear blue waters and sugary white sand. It can be reached via small boats cruising through the dark blue sea. Alternatively, one can reach Elephant beach by taking a trek from the forest camp on the way to Radhanagar, which would take about 45 minutes. Snorkeling in this beach is a memorable experience. Those who don’t want to wet their feet but still would like to enjoy the underwater coral can always rent out glass bottom boats from privateboat operators.

HAVELOCK TO NEIL ISLAND, CHECK - OUT FROM THE HOTEL, AND TRANSFER TO THE HAVELOCK HARBOR TO BOARD A FERRY WHICH WILL TAKE YOU TO NEIL ISLAND.

NEIL ISLAND

Neil is a tiny but beautiful island located 37 kms. To the south of the Andaman Islands with unexplored coral reefs, brilliant bio-diversity, white sandy beaches, tropical forest and vegetation, it is one of the hot tourist spots in the Andaman.
Neil Island is known as the ‘vegetable bowl’ of the Andaman. The settlers named the beaches after the mythical characters of the epic Ramayana.

BHARATPUR BEACH, NATURAL BRIDGE

Neil Island is known for its natural wonders, especially the beaches. A trip to three such beaches (including one with a natural bridge) is commonly called the 3 point tour. One starts with visiting the natural rock formation or the Bharatpur beach, moves on to the next point and then ends the day with a view of the sun dipping down at the gorgeousLakshmanpur beach.

NEIL ISLAND TO PORTBLAIR WE WILL START OUR RETURN JOURNEY TO PORT BLAIR ENJOYING THE SIGHT SOME TIME ACCOMPANIED BY DOLPHINS AND FLYING FISHES SWIMMING ALONG THE BOAT.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY :

Andaman Guru Holidays believe in helping its customers as far as possible,and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:

1. Any Reservation cancelled before 45 days there will be fully refunded.

2. Any Reservation cancelled between 30 days there will be 50% refunded.

3.Any Reservation cancelled between 15 days there will be no refunded.

IMP GUIDELINES FOR COVID-19 TEST FOR GUEST ARRIVING IN ANDAMAN ISLANDS:

1.The Tourist arriving at Port Blair will be tested for COVID-19 at Veer Savarkar Airport using Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) the results will be given at the airport itself. The Tourist will be charged as per rate fixed by Administration (Presently INR 500/- per person ) .If the Tourist test negative , he/she can proceed for the trip , if found positive, he/she will be have to undergo institutional isolation till the recovery from COVID-19.Only after receiving the report tour will be started.
 
2.Mandatory  COVID-19 negative report from mainland India based ICMR approved lab using “Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction”
(RTPCR) or True Nat Test (TNT) , However the sample for RTPCR/TNT should have been taken without 48hours of starting the journey from origin
station,(For e.g. if the tourist take a flight from Delhi/ Mumbai at 0600hrs on 1st November 2020, the sample for RTPCR / TNT test should have been taken not before 0600hrs on 30th October 2020.The result of this RTPCR/ TNT will be confirmed online using the SRF-ID,following with the tourist will be exempted from RAT testing at Port Blair Airport and can proceed for the trip.
 
3.If the Tourist on arrival at Port Blair Airport tests positive , he/she will need to undergo institutional isolation as per existing health protocols, the cost
for such isolation for govt facility will be paid by the tourist as fixed by the administration.

IMPORTANT: TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1.Hotel rooms are subject to availability, on verbal confirmation rooms will be blocked (if available) for two days. In case of non- payment of booking advance (which is 50%) the rooms will automatically be released after two days.

2.The itinerary is tentative, the days and timings may be changed depending upon the ferry and boat availability.

3.All guests who ever going to visit Havelock & Neil Island,whether day trip or overnight trip are required to carry their ID Proofs.

4.All hotels in Andaman have an early check in time and late checkout is subject to availability.
5.The car provided is only for pick up and drop or as per itinerary any extra usage will be chargeable extra.

6. All the activities at Andaman begin at a specific time and the car would arrive at the allotted time as informed by our representative. Request you to please be ready at the time allotted.
